May

First we start with a trip to our favorite Fort (like we have more than 1...) Ft. Stevens State Park.

The obstacle course is popular. Steve lets me know "this is where the water comes from Dad. Don't worry, Jeffrey isn't getting wet Dad". You know what happens in the next 10 seconds...
On the beach, we stumble on to a movie set called The Road with a bunch of well-known actors - Robert Duvall, Charlize Theron, etc. These poor guys had to rake the entire beach to look "uninhabited" for the shoot the next day. Boy, were they glad to see all of our feet show up!
The wreck of the Peter Iredale makes this beach great and lots of fun - I mean a real shipwreck!

Yep, digging - soon to be an olympic sport that our guys will all ride on full scholarships for!
A little wet at the breakfast yur this morning so we got cozy. I left out the photos of the redneck camo tarp I later bought to extend the "veranda" to a large dining area. The sting in buying wasn't the price or the color but knowing I had 3 more suitable tarps back in my garage, not far from the popup canopies I left too.
Yexs! A real Rosevelt elk! Graxing away 15' from the car near the park entrance.
